I have mentioned before that skincare has become really important to me. Especially since last year I am paying more attention to my skin and it’s needs. I am now in my mid twenties and the last months I notice a change in skin structure and feel my skin is slowly maturing. How I notice this? Fine lines start becoming visible and when I do have a breakout, scars don’t go away so easily. Before, an acne scar would be minimal in a few days and now it takes longer.

Although my skin is slowly changing I still suffer from acne as I mentioned. Therefore I also pay more attention to my nutrition these days. So my skincare routine is partly about what I eat and products that I use. I also know that my acne is also due to my bad sleeping and stressful periods.

In regard to make up, I have pretty much the same routine for a while now. I tend to stick to neutral colours and I don’t buy make up that often. I mostly buy make up to replace a product that I finished. This doesn’t mean that I don’t like make up. It’s simply not my ‘’passion’’. I love watching make up looks from fellow bloggers and I really admire the talent. Also, I just love looking at and swatching make up.

In this post I’ll be sharing my current beauty wishlist that includes both skincare products and make up. As I am a big fan of French skin care brands, it is no surprise that the majority of my skincare wanna haves is from a French brand. Hope you have fun reading this post and perhaps you might want to add some of these to your wishlist!

Clarins Multi Active Nuit

In December I dedicated a post to my skincare routine. I mentioned that I was using a Clinique night cream that I wasn’t so crazy about and that I wouldn’t be buying it again. The plan was to use it till I finished it. I nearly finished this night cream (finally) and will buy a new one soon. I am going to give the Clarins Multi Active night cream a try. I am already using the day cream and eye cream from this line and it works really well for me. It is a premature wrinkle line so perfect for the current changes that my skin is going through. What I like about this line is that it is fresh and hydrating that absorbs quickly.

Bioderma Sensibio Miscelar Water

This is the miscellar water that people rave most about. I want it!! I forgot to purchase it when I was in Paris. I can also buy it online here in The Netherlands but it is way more expensive unfortunately. I might order a small one at first to try it. Has anyone tried it?  Plus, does anyone know where I can buy it in Europe apart from France? (Spain, Belgium, Germany perhaps?)

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

I have read so many good things about this cream! It is supposed to be really rich and hydrating and all purpose. Sometimes I really like putting something creamy on my face as a recovery or when I have dry skin.

Balmain Repair Mask

How I love Balmain hair products! I have had this mask before and it leaves my hair so soft, smooth and shiny. I want to repurchase it. I also have the sea salt spray from the brand (very good). Not to mention the wonderful smell of the whole line.

Caudalie Purifying mask

Currently I have a period of terrible skin. I know this is due to the fact that I don’t sleep well. I have a lot on my mind and am currently going through a stressful time. Hello Acne! I have got to know about Caudalie in articles about French skincare. When researching the assortment, I discovered that they sell a few face masks which I would love to try now that I have this bad skin.

Now over to the make up wanna haves!

MAC Cosmetics Soft and Gentle

This must be the most famous highlighter there is. I currently have two highlighters and that’s why I haven’t felt like buying another one as I like my make up collection to be minimalistic. However, every time I see someone writing about it or wearing it, I can’t help but want it! I still have a gift card somewhere so maybe..

Real Techniques Brush set

Some of my brushes seem like they are ready to be replaced. I want to invest in good brushes without going bankrupt. The ones from Real Techniques seem to match my price/quality criteria. Let me know if you have some Real Technique brushes and if you would recommend them (if so, any in particular?)

Too Faced Peach Blur Finishing Powder

The powder claims that it leaves a flawless photoshop effect on the skin. That sounds like magic to me. I also read that it smells like peaches ❤ How amazing is that! Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait to try it when I visit Sephora.

Hope you enjoyed reading this beauty related post! Although I know I am not a beauty blogger or expert, I like writing these kinds of posts too from time to time 🙂

Let me know in the comments what is on your wishlist and your holy grail in regard to beauty products that I should definitely check out!
