Beauty related posts are one of my favourite ones to read. I have seen many make up stash posts lately and it inspired me to share mine too. Especially, as compared to fellow bloggers, my make up collection is really small. I absolutely love make up and always enjoy reading blogposts about it. It gives me many ideas and definitely inspires me. Some girls are so talented, it’s amazing! I also watch beauty related videos on Youtube. Still, I don’t buy that much make up on a frequent base. Therefore my makeup collection is very basic and minimalistic. I can fit my whole collection in 1 make up bag (for real). I think I am more of a shoe and clothing type of girl… Also, I am not super talented in applying my makeup and not very creative to constantly try new looks. But thanks to my fellow bloggers who share their make up looks and purchases, I enjoy makeup. I also like to look at makeup in stores but I mostly buy make up to replace an item that is finished.

So for those that are curious about my humble and small make up collection, I added some pictures and description with the colours. Let me know if you have some of the same items 😀

Face products

I am a big fan of natural face makeup and don’t like cakey and thick foundations or heavy contouring. It’s not my thing and I can already feel the clogged pores when I look at tutorials with cakey makeup. What I do like is a clean look with healthy glow. Your own skin but a bit better. I can’t go without my concealer under my eyes. I have quite dark circles, so to have a fresh look I have to apply my concealer. I could live without my foundation but never without my concealer.

-Primer: Benefit The Professional
-Foundation: Maybelline Fit Me (220)
-Concealer: Kat von D Lock It (M17 Warm)
Powders: MAC Mineralize skinfinish (Medium Plus) / NYX HD Studio Photogenic finishing powder
-Bronzer: Collistar
-Highlighter: NARS (Albatros)

Eye products

Like my face, I like my eyeshadow looks to be natural and stick to neutral and earth tones. I like shiny eyeshadows. I am not a really big fan of matte eyeshadow. My signature look includes eyeliner, in a wing. I love that a wing makes my eye look bigger. The tattoo liner is my recommendation to all of you looking for a good eyeliner to make a wing. I always make sure to have a back up.

-Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion
-Eyeshadows: NYX (Take over Control palette) / MAC (Satin Taupe) / Urban Decay (Sin)
-Eyeliner: Kat von D Tattoo Liner (Trooper)
-Eye pencil: L’Oréal Le Kohl

Lip products

Unlike my face and eyes, I like to wear colours on my lips. I don’t like my natural lip colour and I think I don’t look healthy when I don’t apply a touch of colour. Like you see in the picture, I either have bold colours like red or dark purple or a touch of light pink. Sometimes I apply my lip plumper. I leave it on till the warm/tingling feeling is over, then remove it and apply a lip colour. WARNING: those that don’t manage pain/tingles very well – this lip plumper is NOT for you 😛 The feeling is quite heavy but I can manage it.
